WHO MAKES IT HAPPEN

RODRIGO

Professor Rodrigo, born in Rio de Janeiro, began Jiu-Jitsu at age 8 under his brother Leandro “Tatu” Escobar. A decorated competitor and dedicated coach, he now lives in Texas, where he continues to build champions and grow the Jiu-Jitsu community worldwide.

MONIQUE

Professor Monique, a black belt from Rio de Janeiro, began training in 2015 and quickly rose through the ranks with major IBJJF titles. Now based in Texas, she continues to compete at the highest level while inspiring women to grow through Jiu-Jitsu.

MARLON

Professor Marlon, born in Miracatu, São Paulo, started training Jiu-Jitsu at age 7 with his father and brother. With limited access to high-level training in his hometown, his father opened a Jiu-Jitsu school and a social project, where Marlon helped teach and support the community. After high school, he moved to Santos to train under 3x World Champion Rodrigo Cavaca. Now based in the U.S., he continues to compete and share the Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle with people around the world.

CHANCEN

Professor Chancen Bateman, a black belt under Sergio Rios, began his Jiu-Jitsu journey in San Diego after moving from Maui in 2016. A successful competitor, his true passion lies in teaching and helping others grow through the art beyond the mats.
